We are dedicated to supporting and assisting youth aged 16-24 experiencing homelessness in Dufferin County. We understand the unique challenges these young individuals face and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where they can find refuge and regain stability in their lives.

Men’s Shelter

The Men's Shelter supports men aged 25 and above experiencing homelessness in Dufferin County. With our doors opened on March 27th, 2023, our dedicated team and board of directors had a visionary goal of creating a safe haven for unhoused men in our community. We embarked on this endeavor believing that everyone deserves a place to call home and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

  • Access to nutritious meals and food supplies at the shelter.
  • Assistance with applying for food assistance programs and accessing community resources.

  • Fostering a supportive environment where individuals can enjoy regular and balanced meals.
  • Providing our out of shelter clients with food boxes weekly or monthly pending on their needs.
OUT OF THE COLD

OUT OF THE COLD

  • Out of the cold runs at 20 Townline from Nov 1st to March 31st for anyone looking to escape the cold weather.
  • Open any evening where the temperatures fall below -5 degrees celsius from 9pm to 8am
  • Participants are provided with a bed, pillows, blankets, and have access to showers and laundry
  • Dinner and breakfast is provided

  • Actively reaching out to unhoused individuals in Dufferin County and offering support.
  • Providing information about available services and resources to youth in need.
  • Establishing connections with community partners and organizations for enhanced support.
  • Raising awareness about homelessness and advocating for necessary changes.
